Welcome to the Players First International Development Camps, where competitive players are immersed in the same environment as their international professional academy counterparts. Our goal is simple: to educate and challenge young athletes by providing an authentic, game-changing experience that goes far beyond what’s typically offered by other "sports tourism" programs.

While many programs offer overpriced trips with minimal development focus, our camps are all about the player and their next step in the journey. We partner with top tier, professional clubs that are genuinely committed to player development and the mutual exchange and sharing of ideas. Our camps are fully immersive, offering 13-20 hours of quality, consistent academy training led by the actual academy staff. Your player won't just attend sessions—they'll live them, in residence environments that mirror the day-to-day life of a true academy athlete.
These camps are designed for serious soccer players. Participants live and train as the pros do, with the potential to train alongside actual academy players. Every aspect of the camp, from the training sessions to the local cultural experiences, is carefully curated to provide a unique and transformative experience that simply cannot be replicated by typical soccer tours.
Who Should Attend?
Our camps are ideal for Male and Female competitive players aged 10-18 (with some exceptions for younger players with special permission and location dependent). These are not beginner camps—players should be comfortable with advanced technical concepts and a fast pace of play. What to Expect
At the Players First International Development Camps, your player will:
Train with International Coaches: Receive top-tier coaching directly from the academy staff of professional clubs.
Immerse in Local Football Culture: Live like a local player, experiencing the unique football culture of each region.
Learn: Participate in sessions in your group, or if able, academy-level players, challenging their skills and understanding of the game.
Network with Elite Players and Coaches: Build connections that could last a lifetime, both on and off the field.
These experiences are available at a fraction of the cost of traditional soccer tours, with no mandatory parent packages. Parents are free to explore the region on their own terms while their child engages in the camp.

April 13-20, 2025: Fleetwood Town FC | Blackpool, UK
Ages 10-15 Year olds in the Immersion training Camp
Ages 15-18 will join their infamous Professional Development League U18 Team for training.
Earn invites to the PDL, visa and transfer laws will apply.
July 6-13, 2025: Cruzeiro SC | Belo Horizonte, Brasil
Ages Players 12-18
Earn invites to join Cruzeiro Select team to compete internationally and earn invites to play alongside pro academy teams in the Female Brazilian National Tournament.
Female Players will participate with the regions’ development experts UAI as well as Cruzeiro Academy coaches.
July 20-27, 2025: Estoril | Lisbon, Portugal
Players Ages 10-18
Past players have been invited to be looked at by the Estoril Academy for recruitment consideration. VISA and transfer laws will apply.
August 3-10, 2025: Girona FC | Girona, Spain
August 17-24, 2025: Girona FC | Girona, Spain
Ages 10-14 train in full immersion week August 3-10th.
Pro Academy Residence during their first week of Pre Season for Ages u15 and Up August 17-24th.
Program Benefits
Attending these camps will give your player a deeper understanding of what is required at the highest levels of soccer. They will learn about different football cultures, develop their skills under elite, world class coaching, and return home with new insights into their own game and the international standards they aspire to meet.
Success Stories
Our camps have already produced incredible results. In Brazil 2023, two of our female players were invited to compete in the Brazilian National Tournament with Atlético Pro Academy's U17 girls' team.
In 2024, three of our female players were honored with the opportunity to train and play alongside the UAI and Bahia U17 Pro Academy teams in a Saturday match while in an unprecedented.
In a historic first, our four boys, based on their skills and performance, became the first non Brazilian players to train alongside the Cruzeiro Pro Academy Boys and have even been invited to join Cruzeiro squads in the Adidas Cup this year.
In Portugal, one of our young female players impressed the U13 Pro Academy coach, who expressed interest in her returning to play for the team—though, unfortunately, a visa opportunity was not available.
While these trips are not built for scouting and recruiting purposes, based on the players attending, their ages, club needs and connections, and many other factors, Own Touch/Players First will work to create opportunities beyond training that can unlock a player’s future.
